A quiet night in Shiloh, Illinois, turned into chaos early Saturday when a young woman was arrested for allegedly stabbing her boyfriend during an argument.
Police say 22-year-old Marnequa T. Allen got into a heated altercation with her boyfriend at her home on Sierra Drive. Things took a dangerous turn when Allen reportedly stabbed him in the chest.
Officers arrived at the scene around 1 a.m., finding the victim seriously hurt. Paramedics rushed him to a nearby hospital, where he’s still fighting for his life in critical condition.
Meanwhile, Allen was taken into custody and is now at the St. Clair County Jail. She’s facing serious charges, including attempted first-degree murder and aggravated domestic battery.
