3 Shot, 1 Stabbed in Christmas Night Altercation at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport, Authorities Report

Christmas night at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport turned chaotic when gunfire erupted, leaving three people hurt and one critically injured. Adding to the drama, another person was stabbed during the incident.

It all began around 9:45 p.m. at a restaurant in Terminal 4, just outside a security checkpoint. Police rushed to the scene to find a woman and two men with gunshot wounds. The woman’s injuries were life-threatening, while the two men were stable and receiving care at the hospital.

But the story didn’t end there. In a parking garage nearby, officers found a man and a teenage girl caught up in another scuffle. The man had a stab wound and was rushed to the hospital in stable condition. The girl seemed unharmed. Early reports suggest that everyone involved knew each other, and the heated argument spiraled out of control when someone pulled out a gun.

As if that wasn’t enough, a separate incident added to the confusion. A man, worried about rumors of an active shooter, showed up at the airport armed and got into an altercation with an officer. He was arrested and is now facing several charges.

Fortunately, the airport is back to normal. No other passengers were hurt, and Sky Train services resumed quickly after a brief pause.

It’s a night that won’t be forgotten anytime soon, but thankfully, the situation was contained before it got worse. Stay safe out there, folks!
