In Cumberland, Wisconsin, a man from Barron County was arrested Monday morning after a serious domestic incident.
It all started around 9:30 a.m. when the Cumberland Police Department received a concerning call. A man told officers he had been on the phone with his wife when he suddenly heard screaming before the call was cut off. Worried for her safety, he reached out for help.
Police quickly got in touch with the woman, who revealed that her son, Devin Baldwin, had attacked her. She told them she was badly hurt, and officers rushed to the scene to assist. The woman was taken to the hospital with critical injuries, where she is now receiving medical care.
Meanwhile, Baldwin was taken into custody by the authorities. According to the police, he was very aggressive and had to be restrained several times during the process.
