In Bradenton, Florida, a tragic hit-and-run incident unfolded late Saturday night, leaving the community in shock.
According to the Bradenton Police Department, a speeding driver lost control of their vehicle, hit a pole, and then struck a young man in his 20s before fleeing the scene.
The accident happened on 15th Street West, near the intersection with 13th Avenue West. Witnesses reported seeing the car heading northbound on 15th Street at a high speed before the crash.
After hitting the pole and the victim, the driver took off, leaving the injured man behind.
