Washington Gunman Escapes with $1,060 in Two Robberies, Police Report

Washington police have arrested a man in connection with two armed robberies that occurred over the weekend. The suspect, identified as 22-year-old Brandon Adams, has been charged with two counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon. Authorities say both incidents took place on Carolina Avenue, leading them to quickly determine that the same individual was responsible.

The first robbery happened on Saturday at approximately 1:30 p.m. at the H&K Mart. Witnesses reported that a man entered the store, displayed a weapon, and demanded cash before fleeing the scene. Law enforcement officers responded to the incident and began collecting evidence. Later, on Sunday at around 9:50 p.m., another armed robbery took place at the Drive Thru Smoker Tobacco and Vape Store, also on Carolina Avenue. The suspect used a similar method, entering the business, threatening employees, and stealing money.

Officers worked swiftly to track down the suspect, and just after 11:00 p.m. on Sunday, they located and arrested him.
