FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. – A 72-year-old man, William “Billy” Obrien, who was reported missing earlier today, has been located and is safe, according to the Flowery Branch Police Department.
Obrien, who lives with dementia, had last contacted his family around 7 a.m., expressing that he was experiencing mental distress.
Authorities had been searching for Obrien and his silver 2016 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck, which was spotted mid-morning in Grantville and later in Douglasville.
The Flowery Branch Police Department has confirmed that Obrien has been found, bringing relief to his family and the community.
