A woman in Florida was arrested after allegedly stabbing a customer she believed had stiffed her on a pizza delivery tip, according to police.
Brianna Alvelo, 22, spent Christmas behind bars at the Osceola County Jail. She’s facing some serious charges – including attempted murder, kidnapping, home invasion with a firearm, and aggravated assault – the Sheriff’s Office shared in a Facebook post on Wednesday.
The incident happened on December 22. Police say Alvelo, along with a male accomplice, stormed into a motel room at the Riviera Motel in Kissimmee. Alvelo was armed with a knife, while the man had a gun. Once inside, Alvelo allegedly stabbed the person in the room multiple times.
After the attack, the two reportedly grabbed several items from the room before leaving.
According to investigators, Alvelo had actually delivered a pizza to that very room earlier that night. They believe she wasn’t happy with the tip she received, which may have sparked the violent encounter.
Alvelo was arrested the next day and taken to Osceola County Jail, where she’s being held without bail. Her alleged accomplice is still on the run.
The victim, whose identity hasn’t been released, was taken to the hospital and was said to be in stable condition as of Christmas Day, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Attempts to reach Alvelo’s attorney were unsuccessful.
