Sabastyen Greene turned himself in to law enforcement on Friday afternoon, just after 2 p.m.
The Aiken Department of Public Safety in Aiken County, South Carolina, has been investigating the tragic death of 22-year-old William Lee Mathis Jr., who was shot in September. Officers have now identified Sabastyen Miles Greene, also 22 years old, as the suspect. According to authorities, Greene tried to rob Mathis during their encounter. The situation escalated into a struggle, and Mathis was shot in the chest.
