In North Charleston, South Carolina, a man was injured in a shooting during an attempted armed robbery on Wednesday evening.
The incident took place just before 5:30 p.m. near Oakleaf Drive and Ebony Court. According to Harve Jacobs, a spokesperson for the North Charleston Police Department, two men tried to rob another man at gunpoint. During the encounter, one of the suspects shot the victim in his leg and arm.
The injured man was quickly taken to the hospital, where he is receiving treatment. Thankfully, his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
