Blood Ties Broken: Man Faces Charges for Stabbing His Brother

Bryan Lewis has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon with the intent to kill after allegedly stabbing his brother on Tuesday, according to Craven County deputies. Authorities stated that the incident took place at Lewis’ residence on Old Pollocksville Road, located outside of New Bern.

According to arrest warrants, Lewis used a knife to stab his brother, Major Lewis, in the abdomen. Deputies responded to the scene and found the victim, who was subsequently transported to CarolinaEast Medical Center for treatment. Medical officials confirmed that his injuries were non-life-threatening.
