A suspect has been arrested in connection with a fatal hit-and-run incident in Hertford, according to the Highway Patrol. Authorities report that a 24-year-old woman was struck and killed on South Eden Road Street, located directly across from Perquimans High School. The incident occurred around 8:00 p.m.
Following an investigation, troopers arrested 61-year-old Michael Revels, a resident of Hertford, several hours after the collision. Revels has been charged with felony hit and run.
