From Missing to Murder: The Chilling Discovery of Kuldeep Kumar’s Fate in Ocean County

Four men from Indiana have been arrested for allegedly murdering a man whose body was found earlier this month in a wooded area of Ocean County, New Jersey, officials said.

The victim, Kuldeep Kumar, a 35-year-old man from India, was reported missing by his family on October 26. He had been living in Ozone Park, New York. Tragically, his body was discovered on December 14 in a remote part of the Greenwood Wildlife Management Area in Manchester, New Jersey. According to the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office, his body was in an advanced state of decomposition when it was found.

The next day, the Ocean County Medical Examiner’s Office revealed that Kuldeep had been shot multiple times in the chest, ruling his death a homicide.

Law enforcement quickly launched an investigation, and detectives identified four suspects: Sourav Kumar, 23, Guarav Singh, 27, Nirmal Singh, 30, and Gurdeep Singh, 22. All four men are from Greenwood, Indiana. Authorities believe they worked together to plan and carry out the murder.

The suspects were arrested on Friday in Greenwood, Indiana. They are currently being held at the Johnson County Jail in Franklin, Indiana, and will remain there until they are extradited to New Jersey. Each man faces charges of murder and conspiracy to commit murder.

At this time, officials have not shared details about how the suspects knew Kuldeep or what may have led to the murder.

Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer praised the law enforcement teams for their dedication and teamwork, which he said played a crucial role in identifying the victim and arresting the suspects so quickly. He highlighted the collaboration between the FBI, the New Jersey State Police, and other agencies involved in the investigation.

No further information has been released yet, leaving questions about the motive behind this tragic incident.
