A tragic plane crash in Philadelphia last week claimed the lives of six people, including a Mexican child who had been receiving medical treatment in the United States. The founder of His Wings Ranch, Susan Marie Fasino, whose organization helped arrange medical transportation for the child, has spoken out about the devastating incident.
During an interview with CNN on Monday, Fasino expressed deep sorrow over the crash, calling it an extremely painful and heartbreaking event for all involved. The victims included Lizeth Murillo Ozuna and her daughter, Valentina, who had traveled to Philadelphia for medical care. Valentina had been undergoing treatment for a spinal condition at Shriner’s Children’s Hospital before boarding the plane to return to Mexico.
The medical aircraft took off from Philadelphia but crashed just moments after departure, resulting in the deaths of all six individuals on board. Additionally, a person on the ground was killed when the plane crashed into a northeast Philadelphia neighborhood. The crash also left at least 24 others injured.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the accident, but no official determination has been made at this time.
