Heartbreaking: Mom Allegedly Stabs Baby During Delivery

A mother in South Carolina has been accused of killing her newborn baby in a shocking and gruesome manner while giving birth, according to authorities.

Police in Easley, South Carolina, have issued an arrest warrant for 31-year-old An. T. Ngo. According to the warrant, she allegedly used a “long, metal letter opener” to stab the baby immediately after birth. She then cut the umbilical cord, placed the infant’s remains in a plastic bag, and moved them to another room before authorities arrived.

Emergency responders were called to the scene after receiving a medical emergency report. Upon arrival, they found a disturbing scene and quickly determined that something much more serious had happened. The baby was pronounced dead at the scene. Ngo was rushed to the hospital for medical attention before being taken into custody.

During a press conference, Easley Police Chief Brandon Liner expressed his shock and horror over the case. “I’ve been in law enforcement for over 25 years, and I have never seen anything this gruesome,” he stated. “It was very apparent that Ms. Ngo is the one who tragically murdered this child.”

Ngo has been charged with homicide by child abuse and is currently being held in jail without bail. Her next court appearance is scheduled for May 15.
