A tragic shooting spree in Tamarac, Florida, resulted in the deaths of three people, including Mary Gingles, 34, and her father, David Pozner, 64. Authorities allege that the attack was carried out by Mary’s estranged husband, Nathan Gingles, who also briefly abducted the couple’s 4-year-old daughter, Seraphine Gingles. Police responded to reports of a shooting at around 6 a.m. on Sunday, February 16, and discovered Pozner’s body in the back patio of a residence. At that time, Seraphine was missing, and Nathan was named a suspect. An Amber Alert was issued but was later called off after the child was safely found with Nathan hours later.
Mary was also initially reported missing, and police later found her fatally shot inside the residence of her neighbor, Andrew Ferrin, 36, who was also killed in the attack. According to a neighbor, Mary had desperately sought help from nearby homes after being shot, leaving footprints as she attempted to escape the violence before her tragic death. The neighbor shared that Mary was seen pleading for help, but she did not survive.
Nathan Gingles was arrested in North Lauderdale, where Seraphine was found safe. He has been charged with three counts of first-degree murder, violating a protective order, and interfering with custody. He is currently being held without bond on the murder charges, with a $2,500 bail set for the custody interference charge.
