Hit-and-Run Mystery: Police Seek White Pickup After Fatal Kalihi Accident

In a heartbreaking incident, Honolulu police are searching for a vehicle involved in a deadly hit-and-run that happened in Kalihi earlier this year. The accident took place on N. Kuakini Street around 3:30 a.m. on October 3, leaving a man dead.

Authorities have identified the victim as Nathan Higa. According to their report, Higa was lying in the road when he was hit by what police believe to be a white pickup truck with a camper shell. Tragically, the driver did not stop to help or share any information before leaving the scene. Higa was pronounced dead right there.
