In Sarasota, Florida, a young waitress from Hooters found herself in hot water after being arrested for driving under the influence. The incident, involving 22-year-old Sophia Ross, took a dramatic turn when she tried to charm her way out of trouble.
The Sarasota Police Department released bodycam footage that shows Ross attempting to flirt with the officers at the scene. She can be heard making bold comments, even telling one officer they were going to “make out” and calling him “daddy.” Ross also offered to do “anything” to avoid getting arrested.
Despite her efforts to sweet-talk her way out, things didn’t go her way. She refused to complete a sobriety test, which led to her being taken into custody. According to the police, Ross’s blood alcohol level was recorded at .318—more than three times the legal limit.
Ross is now facing a DUI charge. Her bond was set at $500, and the incident has been widely talked about in the Sarasota community.
This story serves as a reminder of the serious consequences of drinking and driving, no matter how much charm you think you have.
