Jealous Rage: Woman Accused of Killing Boyfriend After Checking His Phone

A Texas woman has been arrested and charged with murder after allegedly shooting her boyfriend upon discovering text messages from another woman on his phone. According to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, 23-year-old Tatyana Evans was taken into custody on February 11 following the death of 28-year-old Geovanni Montague. Authorities report that Montague’s body was found with multiple gunshot wounds outside his home, which he shared with his mother.

Sheriff Gonzalez stated that Montague and Evans had a history of a volatile relationship, and the fatal incident is believed to have been motivated by jealousy. Reports indicate that on February 9, Evans confronted Montague about messages she found on his phone from another woman. Shortly after the confrontation, Montague was shot multiple times and left lying outside his residence. Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but Montague succumbed to his injuries.
