WESTBROOK, CT (WFSB) – A Westbrook woman was arrested on charges of stalking and harassment after she allegedly sent threatening emails to a teacher in the Essex school district.
Alicia Davis, 35, turned herself in on Thursday after an arrest warrant was issued in connection with an ongoing investigation. Authorities say Davis, a parent of two children in the district, sent multiple threatening emails to a school official.
As a result, Davis is facing charges of second-degree stalking, which caused emotional distress, and second-degree harassment.
She was released on a $10,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on February 7, 2025, at New Britain Superior Court.
This incident serves as a reminder of how seriously authorities take threats and harassment in our communities, especially when they involve schools and educators. Let’s continue to support one another and keep our schools a safe space for both students and staff.
