A tragic incident unfolded in Whitfield County, Georgia, where a woman lost her life in a stabbing late Monday night. The authorities acted swiftly, and after a tense search, the suspect is now behind bars.
The Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office reported receiving a call about a stabbing on Richardson Road. When deputies arrived at the scene, they found a woman who had been stabbed at least once. Tragically, she was already unresponsive and pronounced dead on the spot.
After collecting evidence and piecing together what had happened, investigators identified a man named Brian Moree as their main suspect. With this critical lead in hand, law enforcement launched an intense manhunt. Just four hours later, they tracked Moree down in the woods near Polly Road and took him into custody.
Moree is now being held at the Whitfield County Jail, facing a serious charge of murder.
