Mississippi Woman Charged with Capital Murder in Death of 3-Year-Old Girl

A Mississippi woman, Samantha Enfinger, has been charged with capital murder in the tragic death of 3-year-old Aurora Enfinger.

On March 18, Picayune police responded to a home on Crestwood Drive after receiving a report of a deceased child. Investigators quickly suspected foul play, and an autopsy later confirmed Aurora’s cause of death as blunt force trauma.

Initially, both Samantha and Christian Enfinger were arrested for possession with intent to distribute after police found steroids in their home. However, following the autopsy results, Samantha was rebooked on a capital murder charge on March 20.
