Privacy Turns Deadly: Man Shoots Roommate for Entering Bedroom Without Permission

A Tennessee man has been charged with criminal homicide after allegedly shooting and killing his roommate following a dispute over a possible intrusion into his bedroom. The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department reported that 24-year-old Davis Owolo Jr. is being held without bond for the fatal shooting of his 33-year-old roommate, Johnia Ishan Wilson.

The incident occurred on Wednesday night at approximately 9 p.m. at a residence on Birchmill Point South in Antioch, a neighborhood in southeast Nashville. Authorities stated that Owolo was upset over the belief that Wilson may have attempted to enter his bedroom while he was not home. Wilson reportedly denied any such action. Witnesses present at the time attempted to diffuse the escalating situation before shots were fired.
