Ethan DuBray, 19, appeared in Pennington County Court on Monday for a bond hearing, facing serious charges. DuBray is accused of first-degree robbery after allegedly pulling a gun on a gas station attendant.
At the hearing, Judge Josh Hendrickson decided to keep DuBray’s bond at $25,000. But it wasn’t just the robbery charge that caught the judge’s attention. Prosecutors also highlighted two new charges DuBray picked up while in Pennington County Jail. They say DuBray caused trouble by sliming other inmates—meaning he exposed them to bodily fluids. Gross, right?
But that’s not all. Prosecutors also revealed that DuBray has been charged with threatening a law enforcement officer, who, it turns out, went to high school with him. It seems like DuBray’s actions are raising even more concerns.
As a result of these added charges, DuBray’s bond was increased by $700, bringing his total bond to $25,700.
It’s clear that DuBray’s legal troubles are far from over. With more charges stacking up, it looks like he’s got a long road ahead. As his case unfolds, we’ll keep an eye on any new developments. For now, DuBray remains in jail, awaiting further proceedings.
