Road Closure Scheduled for Spring Hill Road in White Oak, N.C. for Maintenance
WHITE OAK, N.C. – A section of Spring Hill Road in Eastern North Carolina will be temporarily closed for maintenance work, according to the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT). The closure is necessary to allow road crews to replace a crossline pipe near Belgrade-Swansboro Road.
The closure began today at 8 a.m., and the road is expected to reopen by Friday at 5 p.m. The maintenance work is part of scheduled infrastructure improvements to ensure better drainage and road stability.
While no official detour signs will be posted, drivers can use alternative routes, including Belgrade-Swansboro Road, Belgrade Extension Road, U.S. 17 Business, and U.S. 17, to access both sides of Spring Hill Road. Motorists are advised to plan their travel accordingly and allow extra time for potential delays.
For updated traffic information, drivers can check the NCDOT website or use GPS navigation services that provide real-time road updates.
