Enfield Police Investigate Crash Involving Gunfire and Downed Power Lines
Enfield, N.C. – Authorities in Enfield are investigating an incident involving gunfire and a vehicle crash that resulted in damage to a telephone pole and a power transformer.
According to the Enfield Police Department, the incident occurred around 9 p.m. on [specific date] along South Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue near Bell Street. Witnesses reported hearing gunshots before a vehicle, traveling at approximately 60 miles per hour, lost control and collided with a telephone pole.
