T.D. Gribble, the son of Paula and Anthony Gribble, who were tragically killed in their North Carolina home, is sharing his heart-wrenching experience. On January 10, after visiting his parents on January 9, T.D. found his mother, 76, and father, 80, fatally shot. It was a scene that shook the community of Greenville, N.C.
The 51-year-old Gribble recounted that he last saw his parents the afternoon before, only to have their lives taken the very next day. The Pitt County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that Paula and Anthony, along with their neighbor Enrique Reyes, 64, were victims of David Lever, 55, who now faces charges of triple murder.
Authorities continue their investigation at multiple crime scenes, piecing together the sequence of events that led to the violence. It is believed Lever had a connection to the Gribble family, but details remain unclear.
On the fateful afternoon, Gribble discovered his parents fatally shot inside their home. Confronting Lever, he managed to hold him at gunpoint until police arrived, keeping calm and relying on the dispatcher to send help swiftly.
