A man is in custody after a stabbing incident in Duluth on Thursday afternoon.
According to the Duluth Police Department, officers rushed to the scene on the 100 block of East Third Street around 12:22 p.m. after getting reports of a stabbing. When they arrived, they found one person who had been hurt and needed medical attention. The injured individual was taken by ambulance to a local hospital, but as of now, their condition isn’t known.
Police have arrested a 24-year-old man in connection with the incident. He’s currently being held at the St. Louis County Jail while officials decide on formal charges. As is typical in these situations, the suspect’s name hasn’t been released yet.
Authorities mentioned that everyone involved in the incident has been detained. They also reassured the public that there’s no ongoing danger, even though the investigation is still active and far from over.
