In Sandy Springs, Georgia, a man accused of making terrifying threats to “shoot everyone” has been arrested after a tense search in a wooded area. The unsettling incident unfolded on Monday afternoon near Fenwick Place, leaving the community rattled.
It all started around 2 p.m. when Sandy Springs police received a call about a domestic dispute involving a gun. According to authorities, D’quan Prebble was arguing with his girlfriend when her sister stepped in to defuse the situation. That’s when things took a dangerous turn. Prebble allegedly pulled out a gun, threatening to shoot not only the two women but also a child who was nearby.
When officers arrived at the scene, Prebble fled into the woods, triggering a two-hour search. Police eventually located him near Dumaine Trace, where he was taken into custody without further incident.
Prebble now faces several serious charges, including making terroristic threats, cruelty to children in the third degree, theft by taking, obstruction of a law enforcement officer, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
