A man from Texas found himself in big trouble after a routine traffic stop in Love County, Oklahoma, led to a surprising discovery. Deputies noticed the man driving on I-35 and decided to pull him over after he broke a few traffic rules.
What started as a regular stop quickly turned into something much bigger. The man was driving a rental car, and after talking with him, deputies asked if they could take a look inside. He agreed, and that’s when things got serious.
Inside the car, they found over 21 pounds of marijuana tightly packed in vacuum-sealed bags. Along with the marijuana, there were THC vape cartridges, all neatly tucked away in a suitcase.
When questioned by the deputies, the man reportedly admitted that he had been buying marijuana off the black market in the Oklahoma City area. He said his plan was to take it back to Texas and sell it.
The Love County Sheriff’s Office is handling the case, and the man now faces charges related to the illegal transportation and intended sale of marijuana. This incident highlights the ongoing efforts by law enforcement to tackle illegal drug activities in the area.
