A young man tragically lost his life in a shooting on Saturday evening in Chicago’s Chatham neighborhood on the South Side.
Myron Head, a 20-year-old, was standing on the sidewalk around 6:10 p.m. near the 900 block of East 81st Street when someone opened fire. The gunshots struck him multiple times, according to Chicago police.
Emergency responders rushed Myron to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where doctors worked to save him. Sadly, he didn’t survive his injuries, as confirmed by the police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
