In Houston’s Greenspoint area, a tragic accident has brought traffic to a standstill on the southbound lanes of Interstate 45 near Beltway 8. The crash, which happened on Tuesday, involved four cars and a motorcycle, leaving one person dead and another injured.
According to the Houston Police, the motorcyclist lost their life in the collision, while a passenger riding on the same motorcycle was rushed to the hospital. Thankfully, the passenger is expected to recover.
As of now, all southbound lanes of I-45 are closed while authorities carefully investigate what happened. Drivers in the area are being asked to avoid the scene and take alternate routes to get to their destinations.
