A heartbreaking accident in St. Louis Park on Monday evening has left one person dead and another injured. The incident occurred around 6 p.m. when a car struck two pedestrians on Meadowbrook Road.
The tragic scene unfolded when a 51-year-old woman lost her life at the scene. The second victim, a 60-year-old man, was rushed to HCMC with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
The driver, a 38-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. He faces serious charges, including criminal vehicular operation and criminal vehicular homicide.
