In a bold move, the Trump administration shared a social media thread over the weekend spotlighting some of the most dangerous criminals arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) under his leadership. The thread highlights criminals ranging from child rapists to suspected gang members and terrorists, all arrested since Trump took office.
The White House post emphasizes ICE’s hard work in protecting communities, noting, “From illegal alien child rapists to gang members and individuals with suspected ties to ISIS, here are some of the worst criminals arrested.”
The thread features nine individuals arrested for serious crimes, including child rape and alleged gang or terrorism affiliations. For example, one post highlights Edgar De La Cruz-Manzo, a convicted child rapist from Mexico, arrested on January 25, 2025, in Seattle. Another post calls attention to a Mexican national wanted for murder, arrested by ICE in Los Angeles, while another mentions a Jordanian national with suspected ISIS ties, arrested in Buffalo on January 24, 2025.
Trump has made securing the border a key focus of his 2024 campaign, and within days of returning to office, he launched a series of directives aimed at reinforcing border security. He announced the designation of cartels as foreign terrorist organizations and took swift action to stop illegal immigration.
During a rally in Las Vegas, Trump proudly shared his administration’s efforts, stating, “Within hours of taking the oath of office, I declared a national emergency at our southern border… we immediately halted all illegal entry and began sending every border trespasser back to where they came from.”
A senior GOP strategist, speaking to Fox Digital, echoed the sentiment, criticizing the Biden administration for not taking similar actions. “It’s clear that the Biden administration knew where these dangerous criminals were and did nothing about it,” the strategist said.
Along with high-profile arrests, law enforcement agencies have been actively working together since Trump’s first day in office. ICE, U.S. Marshals, and the DEA have been arresting and deporting illegal immigrants involved in criminal activity.
On Thursday alone, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt reported over 500 illegal immigrants arrested, with hundreds more deported. She proudly shared, “The Trump Administration arrested 538 illegal immigrant criminals, including a suspected terrorist and several convicted of sex crimes against minors.”
As the massive deportation operation continues, Trump’s administration promises to keep its commitment to securing the border and holding criminals accountable.
This crackdown on illegal immigration is part of Trump’s ongoing efforts to follow through on his “America First” agenda—restoring law and order by addressing border security and punishing known criminals.
