Former President Donald Trump has fired shots at the Democrats, accusing them of shelling out millions to celebrities for endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris. On his Truth Social platform, Trump didn’t hold back, calling out Beyoncé, Oprah Winfrey, and Reverend Al Sharpton by name.
“Are the Democrats paying $11 million, $2 million, and $500,000 to Beyoncé, Oprah, and Reverend Al for endorsements? I don’t think so!” Trump exclaimed. “Beyoncé didn’t even sing, Oprah barely did anything, and Al is just a third-rate con man. What’s going on here? Totally against the law!”
The exact source of these figures? Trump didn’t say.
Here’s what’s known: Sharpton’s nonprofit reportedly received $500,000 from Harris shortly before he interviewed her on his MSNBC show and held a voter rally. However, MSNBC denied any knowledge of this.
Meanwhile, Oprah insists she wasn’t paid by Harris but confirmed her company, Harpo Productions, earned $1 million for producing the “Unite for America” virtual event.
As for Beyoncé, reports show Harris’ campaign paid her production company $165,000 in November, just weeks after they appeared together in Houston.
