The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing 24-year-old man, Jose Cortez, who was last seen on February 2, 2025, around 4 p.m. at his home in Indian Oaks, Paducah, Kentucky. Cortez left his residence on foot and may be somewhere within the county.
The Sheriff’s Office has expressed concern for Cortez’s well-being as he has known mental health issues that place him at higher risk. Authorities are particularly worried due to his vulnerable condition and the fact that he has not been located since his disappearance.
Cortez is described as a Hispanic male with short dark hair, brown eyes, and no facial hair. When he was last seen, he was wearing a grey sweatshirt and blue jeans.
