A tragic incident unfolded in a South Loop high-rise apartment building in Chicago on Sunday morning, leaving one man dead and another seriously injured. It all happened at a building on the 1500 block of South Wabash Avenue, drawing police and emergency responders to the scene.
At around 8:50 a.m., officers arrived to find a 50-year-old man with cuts on his arm and head injuries. He was rushed to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where his condition was reported as serious.
While investigating further, police discovered a second man, believed to be in his 40s, with multiple stab wounds. Sadly, he was pronounced dead on the scene.
So far, the authorities haven’t shared details about what led to this violent encounter. There’s no information yet on whether anyone else was involved. As of now, no arrests have been made.
