Stabbing in South Loop Leaves One Dead, Another Seriously Injured: What Happened?

A tragic incident unfolded on Sunday evening in Chicago’s South Loop neighborhood, leaving one man dead and another seriously injured after a stabbing.

It all happened around 8:50 p.m. on the 1500 block of South Wabash Avenue. Police rushed to the scene after getting reports of a stabbing and discovered a man who had been stabbed multiple times. Sadly, he didn’t survive and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Another man, a 50-year-old, was also hurt in the attack. He suffered cuts on his arm and bumps on his head. Emergency responders took him to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he is being treated and remains in serious condition.

As of now, no arrests have been made, and investigators are working to figure out what led to this violent incident. The area, typically bustling with activity, is now left shaken as the community looks for answers.
